What a day! The Lord’s day is upon us! Guess where I am spending my Sunday? You’ll never guess. Flag World!!!
If you keep up with the Ross Hoss at all then you know that I am an avid Martin Luther King Jr. fan. For those of you who are living in a hole in Joelton today is M.L.K. Day Eve! Tonight I will gather fellow civil rights activists and we will pop some corn, make some Kool-Aid, and watch the Great Debaters together! For those who have not seen it I strongly recommend it… (Can I get an Amen Mike?) thank you….
Tomorrow I hope that you at least acknowledge what the King has done for our Country. The principles that he stood for. The way he inspired an entire nation. The admirable way in which he took a non-violence approach against such violent crimes. Pray for a black friend or two. Pray for the hatred that still remains in the hearts of so many. Pray that you/me will have the courage to stand up for what is right, even if that does mean death.
“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
